At Flossie's we do not
pre-make candy and warehouse it waiting on orders! Hence, we do not use "plastic tubs" or mylar (metalized
poly) bags for our cotton candy (bags that hide the candy). We make it fresh for your event. Therefore, we need your PURE
event date without added buffer days (this can hinder our ability to ship correctly as we add buffer days between your delivery
date and event date and we must also avoid weekends and holidays within the shipping transit). Your actual event date
will help us to help you and is appreciated.
Even though our candy has a 100 day shelf-life that does not
mean that the cotton candy will not shrink incrementally along the way. Think of it as you would ordering a wedding
cake in that you are ordering it now so that it can be scheduled to be produced and shipped in the future so that it is the
last thing to arrive for your event with, at least, a 1 (one) day buffer between the expected delivery date and event
date.
